Our Story

Hello from River and Calvin!

In mid-September 2026 we spent our honeymoon on safari in Tanzania, from the great river crossing in the northern Serengeti to the floor of Ngorongoro Crater. We loved every minute of it.

Every photo on this site was taken by the two of us: happy amateurs with a second-hand long lens (400mm) and a lot of patience. We made these little games so the memories have a home, and so you can share a bit of the wonder we felt.

Day one

Arriving in the Serengeti. Serengeti shall never die.

Two of us, one long lens

Most of our days were spent in the safari car, standing up through the roof with the camera ready and spotting animals for each other.

Thank you, Carlos

A big thank-you to our guide, Carlos, for his genuine guiding and his wonderful company. He knew where to look, waited patiently at every sighting and made the whole trip feel like time with a friend.
